How to season a new cast iron pot:

3. Coat every corner evenly, repeating for 3-5 minutes (use pig skin if possible).

4. Allow to cool naturally; repeat the seasoning process 2-3 times for optimal results.

How to Prevent Rust:

1. After use, wash with warm water, dry thoroughly, and apply a light layer of vegetable oil.

2. When storing for extended periods, wipe the pot with a thin layer of cooking oil.

3. To remove rust, use a scouring pad and salt to scrub away residue.
